Founded in 2000, METRO Arquitetos Associados is an architecture firm that works on projects at different scales, from temporary installations to urban interventions. With a practice that combines technical rigor and research, it seeks to promote the collective use of built spaces - public or private - and the integration between the proposed interventions and the environment in which they are inserted.
With participation in international offices such as OMA in NY and Fosters+Partners in London, Martin Corullon and Gustavo Cedroni have extensive experience in projects linked to the institutional, commercial and, above all, cultural areas, with works completed for the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, Nestlé , Votorantim, Secretary of Culture of the State of Espírito Santo, Galeria Leme, Instituto Moreira Salles and MASP as an integral part of the team responsible for the museum's expography.
In 2013, it was chosen as one of the nine Brazilian offices of the new generation to stand out, for the Nove Novos exhibition in Frankfurt. In 2011, he participated in the Buenos Aires Architecture Biennale and in 2015 in the Architecture Week in Prague. The office had publications in the magazines Domus, Casabella, L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui and Wallpaper, where Cais das Artes appears as one of the most important works under construction in the world.
